6 months old
Today Elsa had her 6 month checkup. All is well. She's 27 inches (90th percentile) and 15 lbs. (50th %). Doc said we could start her on a sippy cup, #2 baby foods, and Cheerios. I just kept saying,"Really? But she's only a baby!" They really do grow so fast. After the doctor, we took her to the chiropractor, then out to eat at a Thai place in St. Paul with my folks and sister and her boyfriend, then we checked out their new house, then we hit Target. It was a big day. Elsa was in a good mood the whole time - it was amazing. I guess we'll have to take field trips to the city more often.
Playtime.

A pair o' choppers
Here's our baby concentrating on her favorite pasttime: opera singing. If you look close you can also see her new bottom teeth!
This weekend, we had some special visitors: Cousin Kyle and Courtney. Check out the cool blue suede moccasins they brought for Elsa. Thanks, guys! She loves them - maybe a bit too much. Saliva and suede don't mix.
At 5 months old, Elsa fits into her 9 month SPRING outfit, and patiently waits for the season to arrive.

Strike a pose
What's new? We've been keeping warm and renting movies from Netflix. I highly recommend it - it's one of the best things we've ever done. I've also been taking tons of baby pics and trying out recipes from Rachael Ray. The newest and most exciting news, however, is that baby Elsa is getting teeth! She bit me yesterday and I could feel their razor-sharpness coming through. Within a week i'm hoping they'll grow to the point where I can get a decent photo of them. Until then, here are some new pics of Elsa and our snowy backyard.
Elsa and her doll, Quigs...
